Meet the Sacramento Team Behind Westlight Windows Sacramento

We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people who measure your windows, answer your calls, and stand in your living room while the old frame comes out are the same people you’ll see next year if a spring settles wrong or a latch needs adjusting. Owen Satterfield built this Sacramento crew around a simple idea: hire people who’d be comfortable explaining their work to a neighbor, then give them a reason to stay. Most of our field team has been with us five years or longer. That continuity matters when we’re matching trim profiles on a 1940s Land Park bungalow or fitting impact-rated glass into a Natomas two-story.

Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Technician

Marcus has installed windows in Sacramento for 14 years, the last nine of them with Westlight. He came up doing retrofit work in East Sacramento, where the houses are beautiful and the original openings are rarely square. That’s where he learned to frame, shim, and flash around the oddities that older construction throws at you. Marcus holds manufacturer installation certifications from PGT and CGI, which means he’s factory-authorized to install their impact-rated product lines. He keeps a small notebook in his truck where he sketches unusual jamb details before cutting anything. Off the clock, he’s restoring a 1968 Chevy C10 in his garage and will absolutely talk your ear off about it if you mention carburetors.

Daniel R. – Senior Installer

Daniel joined Westlight in 2014 after working commercial glazing on office buildings downtown. That experience shows: he’s fast without being careless, and he treats a three-story ladder drop with the same focus as a ground-floor slider. His specialty is large fixed-glass and picture-window installations, the kind where getting the reveal perfectly even on all four sides separates a professional job from something that just looks fine from the couch. Daniel is certified on ECO Window Systems and ES Windows installation. He’s also the guy who brings a small vacuum out at three different points during a job, because he genuinely does not like tracking debris across a homeowner’s floor. Ask his wife about the vacuum at home if you want the full picture.

Priya S. – Service Coordinator

Priya runs the scheduling and the paperwork, but the better description is that she runs interference. When a homeowner calls with a question about an estimate or wants to know when the crew will arrive, Priya is usually the voice on the phone. She’s the one who confirms the arrival window the day before a job and calls again when the truck is 20 minutes out. Priya spent six years in logistics coordination before joining Westlight in 2017, and it shows in how she sequences multi-window jobs so the installation team never has to wait on materials. She knows every permit counter in Sacramento County by first name, which saves our customers a lot of headaches. She’s also fluent in Hindi and has quietly taught half the office to order correctly at the Indian restaurants on Stockton Boulevard.

Angel V. – Apprentice Installer

Angel is the newest member of the field crew, two years in and already carrying manufacturer certification training from Therma-Tru and Mr-Glass. Marcus and Daniel both take turns working with him, which means he’s learning two slightly different installation philosophies and getting good at asking which one applies. Angel grew up in south Sacramento and is honest about why he wanted this trade: his parents’ house had single-pane aluminum windows for 25 years, and he remembers what summer afternoons felt like in that living room. He wants to help other families fix exactly that problem. When he’s not on a ladder, he’s playing second base in a Sunday men’s league and will happily argue about the A’s landing in Sacramento.

One Standard, Every Job

Being an independently owned and operated Kingswell location means we answer to a higher standard than whatever’s cheapest. The Kingswell Way runs through everything this team does: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Every member of this Sacramento crew knows those five commitments by heart because they’re the ones keeping them. When Marcus signs off on a rough opening, he’s signing his name next to a promise Owen made when he founded Westlight in 2009. When Priya hands you the written guarantee at completion, she’s handing you the same document every Westlight location uses. When Angel sweeps the sill one last time, he’s not just cleaning. He’s holding up his end of a bargain we’ve never broken. That’s the standard. It doesn’t vary by job size, neighborhood, or who happens to be on the truck that day.

Meet Us Before You Hire Us

The best way to know whether a crew is right for your windows is to talk to them. Call (279) 206-5094 and Priya or another live person will pick up, answer your questions, and schedule a free estimate with Owen or one of the installers. No chatbot, no voicemail loop, no pushy sales pitch. Just the people who’ll actually do the work.

What Neighbors Say About Westlight Windows Sacramento

★★★★★

"Our energy bill in summer was brutal. New windows made a real dent in it. Salesman wasn't pushy and didn't do the fake "today only" discount thing the others tried."

BBethany Oh
★★★★★

"Replaced a big picture window that had a failed seal and was always foggy. Can finally see the yard again. On time, tidy, and they stood behind the install with a written guarantee."

CCarol Whitaker
★★★★★

"Replaced eight drafty old windows that were basically single pane. The house is warmer already and the street noise is way down. Crew was on time both days and the price was exactly the quote."
